After feeding the five thousand, Jesus sent his disciples across the Sea of Galilee while he went up on a mountain to pray. In the early morning hours, Jesus came to them walking on the water. When Peter saw Jesus, he asked if he could come to him on the water.

Jesus invited Peter to come, and Peter stepped out of the boat and began walking on water toward Jesus. However, when Peter noticed the strong wind, he became afraid and began to sink. Jesus immediately reached out and caught him.
